About TV Alma Mater
Our University Television is registered as a public television program about culture, education and youth policies. Further we intend gradually to transform it in 24 hours television transmitted through cable, satellite, and Internet. The youth and students’ concerns rarely appear in our TV space.
We intend to fill this gap through TV expression of youth life styles and ways of thinking, their dreams and youths’ critical view that is so important for our democratic development. The University Television Program is planned to be a specialized TV channel for culture and education within the new digital framework of the Bulgarian National Television after 2012.
During the first stage, we will create our own two hours TV production that will become an integral part of the satellite Channel “Bulgaria” and the Channel 1 of the Bulgarian National Television. The first stage includes three subprograms that are directly linked to the University life.
